HEAVY CIVIL CONSTRUCTION CAREER DAY – APRIL 7, 2022

The Regional Training Center by AGC of Wyoming is partnering with Oftedal Construction and Natrona County School District #1 to host the Heavy Civil Construction Career Day on April 7, 2022.

AGC member Oftedal Construction, Inc. (Oftedal), in conjunction with the Natrona County School District and the Regional Training Center by AGC of Wyoming, will host the second annual Heavy Civil Construction Career Day on April 7, 2022. With the support of employees and local AGC Associate members, secondary education students throughout Natrona Country will be able to operate heavy equipment, use heavy equipment simulators, learn about and observe the use of construction technology like GPS drones, learn about heavy equipment repair and maintenance, and participate in hands-on welding. Students will also have the opportunity to visit with people in the industry to learn about career paths and job opportunities within the construction field.

The Heavy Civil Construction Career Day will be held at the Regional Training Center located at 2220 Bryan Stock Trail between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. with lunch starting at 11:30 a.m. provided by Oftedal Construction. Any students who are not already aware of the event and are interested in attending can contact the RTC at 307-237-4400 and RSVP.
