An informational mixer for the UW Casper Start-Up Challenge will be hosted on August 22nd.
The Wyoming Technology Business Center is hosting the Casper Start-Up Challenge, for a third year of competition. At stake is $50,000 to seed Casper Start-up businesses.
The WTBC is a business development program of the University of Wyoming with business incubators in Laramie, Casper, and Sheridan.

The WTBC will be hosting the mixer at Frontier Brewing on Wednesday, August 22nd, at 5:30 pm.
“The Challenge is open to any stage of start-up business in the Casper area,” said Jerad Stack, Director of the Casper Area WTBC. “Even if you just have a business idea, we want to encourage you to come to the mixer and learn more about the Start-up Challenge.”
The mixer will provide details of the Challenge, from the registration process through the stages of the competition leading to the final pitch day on November 15th.
“This is a great way for those interested in the competition to meet WTBC staff and get any questions they have answered,” Stack continued.
Registration for the 2018 Casper Start-Up Challenge is now open and closes September 7th.

How to enter this year’s event
The Casper Start-Up Challenge is open to any new and independent venture in its seed, start-up, or early growth phases. An informational mixer on the 2018 Start-Up Challenge will be held at the Frontier Brewing Company, 117 E 2nd St. in Casper, on Wednesday, Aug. 22, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Anyone interested in participating is encourage to attend.
