CASPER, Wyo. — Due to weather conditions in southeast Wyoming, the City of Cheyenne has announced a complete closure of non-emergency offices for Tuesday, November 26th.
“This includes staff at the Board of Public Utilities (BOPU),” Cheyenne officials said Monday night. “Due to the closure, transit buses will not be available [Tuesday].”
A written statement from the City of Cheyenne clarified that any unnecessary travel is discouraged during the course of a heavy winter storm affecting the area.

Cheyenne residents are asked to please call 307-637-6471, if you have a water or sewer emergency.
“The City of Cheyenne will notify employees and the public if weather will interfere with normal business operations past Tuesday,” the city release said.
Cheyenne Police are reminding people who are driving, to make sure that they have the proper implements for the weather, and a clear windshield.
