(PHOTOS) No injuries reported Tuesday after semi hits ambulance on I-70 near Limon

No injuries were reported Monday when a semi rammed into the back on ambulance that was on the scene of another traffic incident on Interstate 70 near Limon, (Limon Area Fire Protection District)

CASPER, Wyo — No injuries were reported Tuesday when a semi rammed into the back  on ambulance that was on the scene of another traffic incident on Interstate 70 near Limon, according to Limon Area Fire Protection District.

Limon County EMS personnel told Oil City News that crews were on the scene of jackknifed semi-trailer Tuesday morning, December 15, when another semi approaching the scene was unable to brake effectively on the ice and crashed into the back of the ambulance.

No one was in the ambulance at the time, Limon County EMT Kim Clymer.

“This is what happens when on scene and people don’t pay attention,” Limon County authorities said on social media. “People slow down when you see emergency vehicles.”
