CASPER, Wyo — A Wyoming man died and three others were injured in a head-on collision on US 30 east of Cheyenne on Saturday, May 15.
The crash occurred around 12:30 pm near mile marker 371.
According to a preliminary Wyoming Highway Patrol report, a Dodge Ram 1500 headed eastbound attempted a left-hand turn into a business entrance (at the intersection with Archer Road). During the turn, a Dodge 3500 headed westbound struck the Dodge 1500 in a near head-on manner.

73-year-old Wyoming resident Ronald Stevenson died in the crash, WHP said. The report identifies him as a driver, though it does not specify of which vehicle.
A seatbelt was not in use, according to the report. Driver inattention is cited as a possible contributing factor.

There have been 34 fatalities to date on Wyoming highways in 2021.
