LARAMIE, Wyo. — This afternoon, a small airplane crashed to the ground just east of Laramie, the Wyoming Highway Patrol announced in a release.
Troopers arrived on the scene, near milepost 324 on Interstate 80, to find that the pilot of the single-engine aircraft had not been injured in the crash. According to reports, the plane had been flying from British Columbia to Florida.
The Federal Aviation Administration said in a release that the incident is under investigation.
