CASPER, Wyo. — It was snowing in Sheridan the morning of March 31 when a semi truck driver rolled his vehicle onto its side on Interstate 90.
The rollover trapped the driver inside the cab, first responders were told.
At 10:32 a.m., Sheridan Fire-Rescue, Goose Valley Fire and Wyoming Regional EMS were dispatched to I-90’s mile marker 31. Engine 2 arrived 23 minutes later to find the semi resting on its side on the shoulder of the road’s westbound lanes.
The crew reached the driver, who again told them he was unable to get out. Firefighters proceeded to remove the seal from around the windshield and dislodge the glass from the cab, Sheridan Police and Fire reported on social media.
At 11 a.m., the driver stepped out of the cab and walked to the ambulance for evaluation, the post stated.
