CASPER, Wyo. — Kelly Walsh High School raised over $4,000 for Make-a-Wish Wyoming as part of their 2021 “Rodstock” concert on Thursday, according to the Natrona County School District.
“At KW, we value character, integrity, respect, and accountability, and our students, staff, and school families exemplify those core values throughout the year,” Principal Mike Britt said. “We have a saying here at Kelly Walsh: ‘It’s not the bricks and the mortar that make us great, it’s the people who show up every day.’”
“I’m so proud of our students and staff for their tremendous performances and work behind the scenes in seeing this event a success! We are extremely grateful for the support our community provides us and we are honored each year to donate to Make-A-Wish Wyoming.”
“Rodstock” is an annual concert event in which students and teachers showcase their musical talent as other get experience running lights, accompanying music and cameras in the background.
