CASPER, Wyo. — The deadline to get tickets for the 2021 Wyoming “Super Tag Raffle” is midnight July 1, according to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.
The raffle raises funding for big game management and wildlife conservation in Wyoming. It has raised about $6.2 million since 2014 and raised $1.34 million in 2020, according to Game and Fish.
The Super Tag Raffle includes license drawings for each of the following ten big game species:
- Bighorn sheep
- Mountain goat
- Wild bison
- Mountain lion
- Grey wolf
- Black bear
In addition to a license for each of the above species, the raffle also offers a “Super Tag Trifecta” prize that allows the winner to choose any three licenses from the ten big game species.
“Super Tag license raffle winners have the opportunity to purchase a license to hunt any open area for the species selected, with some exceptions for moose, wild bison and bighorn sheep,” Game and Fish says. “Winners also retain all preference points they have accumulated. Mandatory waiting periods for sheep and moose licenses and the once-in-a-lifetime restrictions for bull bison and mountain goat licenses are waived.”
Tickets for the raffle are $10 each. The Trifecta tickets are $30.
“Hunters who purchase five or more Super Tag tickets or two or more Trifecta tickets are also automatically entered into a third raffle to win the ultimate hunting gear package from First Lite, Maven, Swarovski Optik, Gunwerks, Stone Glacier, Prime Archery, Meindl USA, Sig Sauer and HuntWise. Additionally, each Super Tag ticket purchased in June is a chance to win a stellar prize package from goHUNT of a Browning X-Bolt Pro Tungsten Rifle with a Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44mm Rifle Scope and a $500 goHUNT gift certificate,” Game and Fish says.
Winners of the raffle will be contacted by July 31.
