CASPER, Wyo. — Construction of a new Wyoming Game and Fish Cody Region Office is underway and the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission approved a change order related to the project during its meeting this week in Riverton.

The $25,991.20 change order “is necessary to pay for costs associated with the water district’s requirements for the building’s back-flow design and widening the road entrance in cooperation with adjacent landowner,” the Wyoming Game and Fish Department said Wednesday.

The department added that it would be reimbursed for the roadwork. The Game and Fish Commission has budgeted up to $10 million for the new Cody Regional Office project.

The project is expected to be complete by June 2022. It is located about one mile north of Cody on the southwest side of Highway 120.

“Game and Fish is committed to providing ongoing updates about this construction project,” Game and Fish says. “Visit the Cody Region webpage for more information, or enroll in the email list to receive regular updates.”
