CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Wildlife Taskforce will hold meetings in Casper on May 23 and 24, according to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.
The meetings will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1150 N. Poplar St. People can attend in person or via Zoom.
The agenda for the two-day meeting, including details on how to participate via Zoom, is available online.
“The Taskforce is also collecting public input on two draft recommendations related to landowner licenses,” Game and Fish’s announcement stated. “The public can read the drafts and submit comments to the Taskforce online.”
The taskforce was formed to study wildlife policy issues in Wyoming, particularly as they relate to hunting opportunities as sportsperson access, according to Game and Fish. The group is gathering information from the public with the goal of providing conclusions and recommendations to the state legislature, the Game and Fish Commission and the governor.
