CASPER, Wyo. – Cynthia Lummis has received two key endorsements for her U.S. Senate run.

According to a press release sent Tuesday morning, Sen. John Barrasso and outgoing Sen. Mike Enzi have thrown their support behind Lummis, a former congresswoman for Wyoming.

“Cynthia will put Wyoming first and be a force to be reckoned with in Washington,” said Enzi in the release.

“I know Cynthia will stand side by side with me in support of President Trump and for policies that are right for Wyoming,” said Barrasso in the release.

Lummis is eyeing the seat held by Sen. Enzi, who is retiring this year.

So far her Republican rivals are R. Mark Armstrong, Patrick Dotson and Joshua Wheeler. Robert Short of Glenrock announced his candidacy yesterday.

On the Democratic side, Merav Ben-David, Chuck Jagoda and Yana Ludwig have announced their run for the seat.
