‘Politics in the Park’ to continue with Natrona Republican candidates for Wyo. House

CASPER, Wyo. — The Natrona County Republican Women and Natrona County Republican Party are holding “Politics in the Park” events leading up to the primary election on Aug. 18.

The first such forum of the summer took place at the Washington Park Bandshell on June 29 and featured candidates for the Natrona County Board of County Commissioners.

The series will continue on Monday, July 13 with Republican candidates for the Wyoming House of Representatives. Representatives serve two year terms in the legislature.

“The events will start at 4:30 pm with the candidates talking time to start around 6 depending on the number of participants each week,” Natrona County Republican Women said. “There will be food trucks at each event as well as Jewelry and T-shirts for purchase.  Bring a lawn chair and please join us.”

Candidates for the House Districts representing Natrona are as follows (unless otherwise stated, the candidates are all Republican):

Candidates for all contests are listed on Natrona County’s website. The Politics in the Park events will continue throughout the summer:

  • July 13- Natrona County State House races
  • July 27- Natrona County Senate and Natrona County Coroner races
  • August 3- United States Senate race
  • August 10- Casper City Council races (nonpartisan)

“Each event will allow the Republican candidates to give a brief speech, and then we will be asking a variety of questions from the crowd that will help to inform the voters as they prepare to vote in the upcoming primary,” the Natrona County Republican Women said. “All Republican Candidates are welcome to come set up tables at each event with their literature, yard signs, and be available to answer questions and share their views and reasons why you should vote for them,”
