CASPER, Wyo. — Kelly Walsh High School recently received a donation of $5,000 from John and Cindy Farrell. The intent behind the donation is to contribute toward the purchase of two indoor batting cage mounting and netting systems for the school’s softball team, according to a memo provided to the Natrona County School District Board of Trustees.
The entire cost for the proposed system is approximately $9,500. KWHS will cover the remaining balance after the Farrells’ donation.
If approved, Mike Britt, principal, and Matt Flett, chief financial officer, will be responsible for overseeing the proper use of the funds.
The donation will be decided upon during tonight’s school board meeting, held by the Natrona County School District Board of Trustees.
