CASPER, Wyo. — The Pedro Mountain Fire east of Pathfinder Reservoir has grown to 11,084 acres.
It remains at 10% contained. While four structures were confirmed on Wednesday to have burned, no additional structural losses were noted in a Thursday, Aug. 29 National Interagency Coordination Report.
Officials will inform any property owner who’s structures have been confirmed to have burned.

“Any homeowner that does not receive a notification should note their structures have not been identified as being directly affected by the fire to date,” the incident management team said on Wednesday.
Evacuations remain in place for these areas:
- Pedro Mountain Estates
- Pedro Mountain Ranch Road
- Cardwell Ranch
The Red Cross is available to assist people impacted by the fire.
Road Closures include the following areas:
- Natrona County Road 407 / Carbon County 291 (also known as Kortes Road) closed from the intersection of Natrona County 408 (also known as Fremont Canyon) south to Leo/Sage Creek until further notice due to fire operations and public safety
- The closure includes all roads west of the above location to Pathfinder Reservoir
Public access to areas south of Leo/Sage Creek is still available through southern routes. Those areas include Miracle Mile and Kortes Dam Camp.
