The 67 acre fire’s growth was limited due to burning in the footprint of a previous fire in the area.
Command of the fire will be transferred from a Type 3 incident management team to a Type 4 team.
“The team consists of 13 helitack members and a Type 3 helicopter which will be used to monitor the fire and respond to any new fires in the area,” the update adds.
