CASPER, Wyo. — A forest fire has led to the closure of WY 34 north of Laramie between Bosler and the Albany/Platte County line, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
The closure went into effect as of 8:10 am Thursday, July 9.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne said that the wildfire is called the “Clemons wildfire” and “has rapidly intensified and increased in coverage to over 1000 acres as of earlier this morning.”
The highway is closed in both directions.
