CASPER, Wyo — The Wyoming State Forestry Division (WSFD) said at 1:00 pm Sunday, July 12 that the Cabin Fire in the rugged foothills at the southern end of the Laramie Range has grown to 248 acres.

160 personnel from agencies including WSFD and Albany County Fire District are working to suppress the fire. Natrona County Fire District said on social media it was sending Fire Captain Darek Pepple to assist as a strike team/task force leader.
