CASPER, Wyo. — The U.S. Forest Service said on Wednesday that a fire was reported at 3 p.m. in the Big Piney District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
The fire is being referred to as the Pass Creek Fire.
“It is now approximately 2 acres,” the Bridger-Teton National Forest said.

Sublette County Unified Fire and interagency helicopters are assisting on response to the fire.
The Forest Service says that smoke from the fire will be visible from the highway and that communities in the area may also be able to see smoke from the fire.
