CASPER, Wyo. — The Natrona County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who was reported missing from the Town of Mills last week. Sheriff’s officials say that the man’s vehicle has been found near Casper Mountain.

According to Sheriff’s Department Investigator Taylor Courtney, the vehicle was reported as being suspicious, when reported to officials. The vehicle was located near Sheepherder Hill, in Natrona County.

John Barnhill was reported missing on Tuesday.

“I do know that our people were out there searching for him today and went home when the sun went down,” Natrona County Sheriff’s Cpl. Lisa Lauderdale told Oil City late Sunday night. She also confirmed Barnhill’s name.

“We’re not suspecting that foul play is involved,” said Courtney on Monday morning, at a media briefing. “We do have search crews that are out looking for him. We are concerned about his condition, medically.”
