CASPER, Wyo — Wyomingites attitudes toward receiving the COVID-19 vaccine has remained relatively unchanged since November,  according to a new survey by the University of Wyoming’s Wyoming Survey and Analysis Center (WYSAC).

62% said they are “very or somewhat likely to get the COVID-19 vaccine when available to them” or have already received at least one dose.

31% said say they are “very unlikely,” to get the vaccine. 69% of those people cited concerns about side-effects, while a little more than half either said they didn’t need it or wanted to wait for more information on its efficacy.

A total of 526 Wyoming residents representing all Wyoming counties participated in the survey.
