CASPER, Wyo. – Jeffree Star, a California-born entrepreneur and social media celebrity, hinted at starting a new business in the Casper area after moving here part-time.
In a video posted on his YouTube channel on Jan. 7, Star is seen in his new Casper home that he says he purchased along with 500 acres and where he will live half of the year.
“It’s amazing…it is really peaceful and quiet here, and it’s so beautiful,” he said. “My view of the mountain is unreal.”
He says he’s going to “build in the future” on the property, and said he intends to build a fulfillment center in Casper.
Two businesses under Jeffree Star’s name have been filed with the Wyoming Secretary of State, including Jeffree Star Cosmetics, Inc., and Jeffree Star Pets, LLC.
Jeffree Star Cosmetics, Inc. was filed on Jan. 7, 2021, the day Star posted his video. The LLC was filed on Sept. 4, 2020. The principle addresses of the businesses are in Chatsworth, CA. Emails to the Cody law firm that filed the requests were not returned.
Multiple emails to Jeffree Star Cosmetics were also not returned.
In the video, Star is seen driving a Jeep with two other people, and retrieving a pink BMW roadster he had shipped from California. Cameras then follow him to Casper’s vehicle licensing department to retrieve a custom County 1 Wyoming plate that reads ‘STAR.’
Star is reported to be worth $200 million, and owns an estate in L.A. worth more than $14 million.
No other information or timeline on the possible business was given in the video.
