CASPER, Wyo. — The former home of Mick and Susie McMurry has been offered up for auction, according to a Casper realtor.

The 21,500-square-foot mansion was custom built in 2007 and features four bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and sits on more than 17 acres on Casper’s east side.

The mansion was previously listed for sale at $24.5 million, according to the listing.

There is no reserve on the auction, according to a social media post by realtor CJ Lovato. Bidding opens September 30 and a tour is scheduled for September 16, according to the Concierge Auctions website.

The McMurrys built the sprawling house to their specifications with the wealth from their oil businesses. It featured distinct “his and hers” bathrooms, an office for Mick, and rooms for their grandchildren.

For years, the couple shared their wealth with philanthropic endeavors around Casper after establishing the McMurry Foundation, which focuses on aiding children, healthcare and educational organizations.

Susie McMurry moved out of the house shortly after Mick died by suicide in 2015.

The auction listing, which features photo galleries and additional information on the house and property, can be seen here.
