CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution was treated to an  uplifting concert by acclaimed composer Eric Genuis and three world-class soloists on April 11, according to a release by the Wyoming Department of Corrections.

Two concerts were held, one for the men and one for the women. Genuis delivers hundreds of performances around the world every year, among which are the Concerts for Hope, performed in prisons, rehab centers, hospice centers, safe houses for the abused, schools, hospitals, nursing homes and other specialty care facilities.

“His mission is to perform uplifting, original content for those who have lost hope,” the state corrections department said in the release.
