CASPER, Wyo. — Closures along I-25 are beginning to ease with northbound travel from Glendo to Casper re-open as of 2:44 pm Tuesday, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
WYDOT still has a “no unnecessary travel” advisory in place for this section, however.
I-25 remains closed southbound from Casper to Glendo. Glendo to Cheyenne remains closed in both directions.
WYDOT plows have been working to clear both I-25 and I-80. The estimated opening time on closed sections of I-25 is sometime Tuesday evening. (WYDOT’s estimate as of 9 pm Monday was 23-25 hours).
I-80 remains closed in both directions (with local travel exception) from Pine Bluffs to Rawlins. I-80 is closed eastbound from Evanston to Rawlins due to a rolling closure. I-80 is estimated to reopen sometime between 10 pm Tuesday and 1 am Wednesday.
