CASPER, Wyo. — Interstate 80 between Laramie and Cheyenne has reopened Friday evening after closing “due to winter conditions and crashes at 03:35 p.m., the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) announced.
The road reopened at 8:20 p.m., but is still slick in spots with black ice, WYDOT said.
A high wind watch is in effect, with west winds gusting up to 75 mph Saturday afternoon through the evening. The wind will also affect Interstate 25 around Bordeaux.
