CASPER, Wyo. — Natrona County residents may see scattered showers and storms in the coming days, according to the National Weather Service in Riverton.

Today’s weather prediction includes a 30% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms, though the NWS in Riverton reports they shouldn’t begin until after 5 p.m. Skies will remain mostly cloudy all day, with temperatures reaching a high near 67 degrees.

The chance of showers and thunderstorms will continue into the night, ultimately turning into isolated showers in the early morning hours. Temperatures should drop to a low of roughly 44 degrees. Winds could gust as strong as 28 mph.

On Sunday, the NWS in Riverton calls for a 20% chance of isolated showers in the afternoon, with thunderstorms also possible. Temperatures will be similar to Saturday’s, with a high again of 67 degrees.

Sunday night will be cloudy, with a low temperature of around 40 degrees. However, despite the clouds, additional rainfall is not expected past sundown.
