CASPER, Wyo. — A man is facing felony possession charges for alleged possession of 3.4 grams of methamphetamine in Rawlins.

Jesse Witt was arrested on Dec. 11 and is “charged with Unlawful Manufacture or Delivery; Counterfeit Substance; Unlawful Possession (WS 35-7-1031cii),” the Rawlins Police Department said on Friday, Dec. 13.

Officers had observed Witt hunched over in a vehicle which was parked in a no parking zone on the 400 block of 3rd Street in Rawlins.

“As a result of the officers investigation, officers located 3.4 grams of methamphetamine in the driver’s possession,” Rawlins PD alleges. “Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than 7 years, a fine not more than $15,000, or both.”

“At this time, these charges are merely accusations and the Defendant is innocent until proven guilty.”
