CASPER, Wyo. — Officials with the Utah Highway Patrol have released a video of a dramatic rescue that shows a trooper pulling a motorist from the path of a moving train.

Utah Highway Patrol officials say that Utah Trooper Ruben Correa pulled an unconscious driver from the driver’s vehicle seconds before it was struck by the train.

“Trooper Correa had been on a traffic stop close by before he responded to the area on a call of a car on the tracks,” Utah HP officials said on social media Wednesday.

“At that point, I actually wasn’t really thinking, I was just doing my job,” Correa was quoted by the UHP.
