Casper Medical Imaging recently earned Accreditation in Superficial Venous Evaluation and Management from the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).

The team at Casper Medical Imaging is pleased to announce that we are the first and only dedicated venous practice in the state of Wyoming to receive this noteworthy achievement. It is an honor to be recognized for our commitment to quality.  We have branded our venous service line “Wyoming Vein Specialists” as an indicator of our collective effort and dedication to the diagnostic evaluation and treatment of superficial venous disease also known as varicose veins.

Superficial venous disease is extremely common affecting up to 25% of all women, 15% of all men, and over 50% of adults 50 years of age and older. Venous blood flowing in the wrong direction leads to ache, pain, swelling, and those blue bulging veins in the lower extremities. This is a true medical problem that is easily addressed with a clinical evaluation, an ultrasound, and a minimally invasive outpatient procedure. Referrals are not required for your consultation and the majority of insurance carriers including Medicare cover services for venous disease.
