Ashley Bright, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming CEO, is proud to announce the launch of the Logan Wilson Flag Football League, a community-based youth sports initiative created to honor the retirement and legacy of Wyoming native and professional football standout Logan Wilson. The league will run from Aug. 24 through Oct. 8 and will be open to youth in grades K–8.
The Boys & Girls Clubs Flag Football League will officially feature the Logan Wilson (LW) logo across all marketing materials, league apparel, promotional content, and community outreach efforts. This special partnership celebrates Logan Wilson’s lasting influence on youth athletics, leadership development, and the growth of football across Wyoming. The initiative is designed not only as a tribute to his professional career but also as a continued investment in young athletes throughout Central Wyoming.
Building Opportunity Through Sport
The Logan Wilson Flag Football League will provide structured, accessible opportunities for boys and girls across multiple age divisions. The league will focus on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community engagement, core values shared by both Logan Wilson and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming.
“This league represents more than football,” said DC Martinez, Athletics Director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming. “It is about honoring a role model who has given back to his hometown, while consistently creating meaningful opportunities for youth to learn, grow, and compete in a positive environment.”

Honoring a Wyoming Legacy
A former Wyoming Cowboy and long-time NFL linebacker, Logan Wilson has been widely recognized for his performance on the field and his commitment to community involvement off the field. The Logan Wilson Flag Football League reflects his continued connection to Wyoming youth and his ongoing impact on the state’s athletic culture.
“I’m honored to be a part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming’s flag football league, which gives youth the opportunity to learn, compete, and have fun,” said Logan Wilson. “Sports taught me so many important lessons growing up in Wyoming, and I’m excited to help create those same opportunities for the next generation.”

Community Impact and Future Growth
In future seasons, the league will expand to include community-based skills camps, youth development initiatives, and sports-focused mental health outreach events aimed at increasing participation in Boys & Girls Clubs organized sports and deepening community engagement.
