Wyoming State Treasurer Curt Meier has earned the endorsements of three additional organizations representing Wyoming’s public employees and key industries, adding to a growing coalition of supporters who cite his experience, conservative leadership and proven record of fiscal stewardship.

During Treasurer Meier’s tenure, the assets managed by the Treasurer’s Office have grown from less than $20 billion to approximately $35 billion, while investment earnings generated a historic $1.857 billion for Wyoming’s budget last year — becoming the state’s largest single source of revenue for the first time in Wyoming history.

Treasurer Meier said the endorsements reflect confidence in a consistent approach to public service.

“I’ve always believed my responsibility is to honor the Constitution, uphold my oath of office and make decisions that serve the long-term interests of Wyoming,” Treasurer Meier said. “I’m grateful for the trust these organizations have placed in me, and I look forward to continuing the work of keeping Wyoming financially strong for today’s taxpayers and future generations.”

The Wyoming Public Employees Association Political Action Committee (WPEA/PAC) voted overwhelmingly to endorse Treasurer Meier during its June 27 endorsement meeting in Casper. The endorsement was approved by the WPEA Board of Directors, district representatives and PAC chairs following a review of candidates for statewide office.

“We are honored to endorse you for re-election to the office of Wyoming State Treasurer,” the WPEA/PAC wrote in notifying Treasurer Meier of the endorsement. “We look forward to working with you during the 2026 campaign season as well as the next four years as the Wyoming State Treasurer.”

Treasurer Meier said he is grateful for the confidence shown by Wyoming’s public employees.

“I appreciate the support of the Wyoming Public Employees Association and the men and women they represent across our state,” Treasurer Meier said. “Public employees dedicate their careers to serving Wyoming’s citizens, and I take seriously my responsibility as a member of the Wyoming Retirement System Board of Directors to help ensure their retirement system remains financially strong for years to come.”

Treasurer Meier has also earned the endorsement of the ONEOK Employees Political Action Committee, recognizing his record of supporting policies that strengthen Wyoming’s economy and energy industry.

In addition, the PacifiCorp–Pacific Power/Rocky Mountain Power Political Action Committee announced its endorsement of Treasurer Meier, citing his commitment to responsible energy policy and expressing pride in supporting his campaign.

“I understand that Wyoming’s financial future depends on a strong economy supported by responsible energy development, agriculture, tourism and other key industries,” Treasurer Meier said. “These endorsements demonstrate that organizations representing public employees, energy producers and utility providers recognize the value of experienced, steady leadership in the Treasurer’s Office.”

Treasurer Meier has previously earned endorsements from the Wyoming Mining Association, Wyoming REALTORS, Associated General Contractors of Wyoming, Wyoming Hospitality & Travel Coalition, and the Wyoming Coalition for a Healthy Retirement, whose members represent nearly 70,000 working and retired Wyoming public employees.

The Wyoming Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 18.
