Regency Hotel Management was thrilled to have Tim Derby rejoin the management team from the former Ramkota in June. With superior guest service as the overall goal for the team, and a critical piece of the puzzle was to put a food and beverage director into place. We were thrilled to bring Tim Derby to the property where in addition to his food and beverage director role, Tim has assumed the executive chef position for all banquet events.
With more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Tim Derby brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. Originally from Casper, Tim began his hospitality career in the kitchen at the Parkway Plaza Hotel, starting as a dishwasher and working his way up through the ranks. He worked for more than 20 years alongside Pat Sweeny and Jason Beck. He spent the next 10 years at the Ramkota before rejoining the Regency Management team at his original kitchen. Throughout his career, Tim has built a reputation for hard work, dedication, and a genuine passion for the hospitality industry. His return to the hotel is an exciting opportunity to bring his years of experience and knowledge back to a place that has been an important part of his career.
Outside of work, Tim is a proud husband, father of three daughters, and Papa to a granddaughter. He grew up in Casper and is happy to continue being part of the local community.
