CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation recently announced the closure of Interstate 80 in both directions between Laramie and Cheyenne due to inclement weather.
In a release, WYDOT stated that the weather has led to several crashes along the highway.
I-80 is also shut down between Rawlins and Laramie, as well as from Laramie to the I-25 junction at exit 359.
WYDOT predicts the roadways will remain closed for eight to 10 hours, though those estimates are subject to change.
