CASPER, Wyo — Another high-clearance vehicle driver has misjudged the 11-foot clearance at the McKinley Street Bridge on Thursday.

“The driver of this vehicle thankfully walked away with non-life threatening injuries,” the Casper Police Department said on social media. However, both the truck and the bridge have significant damage, police said.

Repairs were made to the bridge in October 2020 after a similar incident in September. And other trucks have met the same fate historically.

Casper PD said local businesess should take note:

“If you are a truck driver, or work at a business that receives deliveries from large trucks, please make sure they are aware of this location and take steps to avoid it.”
